My name is Emma Rose and welcome to the launch of my new business website. I have had a varied career so far in my thirty-something years, but I sit here now as a new business owner, feeling both excitement and abject terror.

I am so excited to be sitting here, having done all the hard work in the background, setting things up ready for this launch. However, terrified at the prospect of no longer being an employee and now having to run everything myself.

My head is full of scary thoughts. What if I don’t get any clients? What if I eat through my savings? What if I fail? After all, statistics show that 60% of new businesses fail within the first 3 years.
